I have long held a very loosey-goosey, inclusive standard for what constitutes “a Christmas movie”. Today, however, i was reminded by someone’s Letterboxd list that such standards lead to the conclusion “Prometheus (2012, dir. Ridley Scott) is a Christmas movie,” so I’m prepared to change my position.
